The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague will be closed to the public on Tuesday, September 18 and 25, due to the disconnection of the museum’s water system by the Prague Water Supply and Sewerage Company.
The guided tour of the exhibition "Moser 10/150: The Last Decade of a 150-Year Glass Art Tradition", scheduled for September 18, will take place as planned. The museum will be open between 4:30 and 6:30 pm; the permanent exhibition, library and café will be closed. The tour, given in Czech, begins at 5 pm in the museum’s main exhibition hall; admission is free. The lavaratory facilities will be out of order.
On September 25, the museum will be closed all day.
The Czech-language lecture on the "Outstanding Collections of UPM: Beginnings of Art-collecting", planned for Tuesday, September 25, will be held instead on Wednesday, September 26. The lecture begins at 5 pm in the museum’s basement corridor; admission is free.
