The exhibition introduces sports fashions in several stages — for example clothing for horse riding, motoring, skiing or ice-skating in the 2nd half of the 19th century. Furthermore, also sport clothing as a part of the modern lifestyle during the inter-war period. Attention is also paid to the phenomenon of Sokol gatherings and the types of clothing connected with them. Another part of the exhibition is dedicated to sport fashion during the communistic regime, which was determined by the political ideology of the time and accompanied by economic problems — exhibited are skiing stretch trousers, skiing thick trousers, clothing for langlaufers or accessories such as scarves, gloves etc. Towards the end, the exposition also shows trends connected with the development of sporting sector after 1989, when the traditional winter sports were added by with for example snowboarding.
