Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague
Miroslav Jodas (1932–2013) is remembered today mainly as
of the jazz scene. The artistic legacy of this legendary documentarian of the musical life over several decades is multifarious, making him one of the most outstanding figures of Czech photography of the 1960s and 70s. This small-scale display is devoted to Jodas’s book photo-illustrations and collaboration with experimental theatres, as well as his “civilizational landscapes“, portraits of Czech and foreign artists, and distinctive photographic sequences.
