The book Czech Photography of the 20th Century presents for the first time in such a large scale the main tendencies, personalities and works of Czech photographic creation of the entire last century. It contains 517 reproductions, which include the most important photographs and photomontages that have been seen many times, as well as works that have long been forgotten or have not been published at all. It is arranged in seventeen chapters and is supplemented by a comprehensive chronology of the most important events in 20th century Czech photography.
The book received the 1st prize for the best photography book from Central and Eastern Europe 2009-2010 at the 20th International Festival Month of Photography in Bratislava.
