The UPM has prepared an illustrative catalogue in Italian for the 2017 exhibition in Trieste (Scuerie e Museo storico del Castello di Mramare), which introduced Art Nouveau art from its collections to the Italian public. A reprise of the successful exhibition Art Nouveau/Vital Art 1900, hosted by the Municipal House in Prague in 2013-2015, focused on key Czech artists such as Alfons Mucha, Jan Preisler, Jan Kotera and Josef Gočár. Works representing Czech art and craft production included posters, graphics, furniture, jewellery, glass and ceramics. The authors also took into account the historical context of Trieste and Bohemia in the period before the First World War.
