LOBMEYR VIENNA – 200 YEARS WITH BOHEMIAN GLASS

The exhibition, prepared by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the J. & L. Lobmeyr company, presents not only the history and production of the world’s leading glass company through a rich selection of exhibits, both in number and style, but also focuses on the design work of a a several artists who collaborated with the company in the 19th and 20th centuries. In parallel, it also focuses on tracing and detailing the fundamental contribution of Czech glassworks and refineries to the shape of Lobmeyr glass.
